5 months agoLook for Ty Gibbs to have a good run in Sunday's Toyota / Save Mart 350 at Sonoma on Sunday afternoon. Gibbs has already emerged as one of the better road course racers in the Cup Series, with an average running position of 10.57 on them since the start of 2023--which ranks as sixth-best in the series. Here at Sonoma specifically, Gibbs had a forgettable day here last season, finishing 18th after starting sixth, but this track has a brand new surface on it this time around, and Gibbs got some extra track time on Saturday by running the Xfinity race. On DraftKings, Gibbs is priced at $9,000 for this slate, and with his 10th-place starting position, he has some Place Differential upside and could be a solid value play if he can pull off a top-five finish. He ended up third at COTA earlier this season, which was the first road course race of the year.--Jordan McAbee
