Ty France Avoids A Fractured Wrist
1 year agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (wrist) left Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Oakland Athletics early after a pitch hit him on his left wrist. However, the good news is the 28-year-old avoided a fracture, according to Corey Brock of The Athletic. France is experiencing "significant swelling," though, so fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, as he may have to miss a game or two. The former 34th-round pick has seen a drop in production from 2022, slashing .261/.341/.380 with three bombs, 27 runs, 21 RBI, and one steal over 48 games. Those numbers still play well in most formats, so hopefully, he can return to action sooner rather than later.
