Ty Dillon Could Have Respectable Showing At Phoenix
11 hours agoAfter a couple of rough races at Atlanta and COTA, Ty Dillon probably isn't mad that Phoenix Raceway is the next stop on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. That's because he doesn't have that bad of a record at this race track. Statistically, Phoenix ranks in the top third of tracks for Ty. He has an average finish of 20.6 in the desert over the course of 14 total starts, including a streak of six straight finishes between 15th and 21st from 2018 to 2022. This weekend, Dillon struggled quite a bit in practice, ranking 36th-fastest out of 37 cars, but he qualified up in 25th-place, which is a trend in the right direction. Although you can't really trust a low-tier driver like Ty Dillon, it may be worth taking a flier on him in tournament lineups, as he is priced at just $5,000 on DraftKings this weekend.
