6 years agoThe Minnesota Twins are interested in free-agent relief pitcher Cody Allen. Allen had 27 saves in his final season with Cleveland, but that was about the end of the good news for his 2018 season. The right-hander had an ugly 4.70 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 10.7 K/9 in 70 outings (67 innings) for the Tribe. Minnesota's ninth-inning picture heading into next year isn't settled with Trevor Hildenberger and Taylor Rogers in the picture, so Allen could have a chance at more saves if he lands in Minnesota. He'll be a low-end fantasy closing option if he's guaranteed save chances, but he won't have much value in a setup role in his next home.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
