Twins Calling Up Prospect Edouard Julien Tuesday
2 years agoThe Minnesota Twins are calling up 96th overall prospect Edouard Julien on Tuesday, according to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. The 23-year-old second baseman is slashing .276/.417/.517 with a pair of homers and one stolen base across eight games at Triple-A. With the club's list of injuries continuing to grow after Joey Gallo hit the IL, they had an open roster spot available. It isn't clear if Julien will be in the starting lineup on most occasions, but he offers solid power and on-base ability with a bit of speed, considering his 19 stolen bases over 113 games in 2022. Fantasy managers can leave him on the waiver wire unless he earns everyday at-bats.
