4 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) is expected to be active and start against the Bengals in Week 13. Tagovailoa missed last week's contest after jamming his thumb against a helmet during practice, though he was back taking the first-team reps in the lead up to Sunday's game against Cincinnati. Tagovailoa is more game-manager than anything, as evidenced by his failure to hit the 250-yard passing mark in any of his starts, though he has thrown for multiple touchdowns in two of them. DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki should remain in lineups, though their respective ceilings were probably higher with the gunslinging Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. Tagovailoa should be looked at as a low-end QB2 against the Bengals.--Tim Capurso
