Troy Tulowitzki, Giancarlo Stanton Play Long Toss Monday
6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Troy Tulowitzki (calf) and outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (biceps) played long toss before batting practice on Monday, but manager Aaron Boone said it will be a while before Tulo can come back. Given Tulowitzki's history with injuries, the Yankees should expected to be extremely cautious with him. He should only be a stash option in AL-only leagues. Tyler Wade should continue to see consistent playing time at the keystone, at least until Miguel Andujar returns from his injury. Stanton should be back sooner than Tulowitzki and should remain stashed in all leagues for his premier power. One of Clint Frazier or Mike Tauchman will likely be sent down when Stanton is ready to return.
