Troy Tulowitzki Exits With Calf Injury
6 years agoThe New York Yankees possibly suffered another loss Wednesday afternoon in their game against the Detroit Tigers. Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, the former All-Star shortstop with a history of injuries, possibly suffered another to his left calf. He immediately left the stadium for the New York Presbyterian Hospital to undergo further testing. The 34-year-old signed with the Yankees over the winter to serve as the temporary starter as Didi Gregorius recovers from Tommy John surgery. More updates will follow as his status becomes clearer following the additional tests. For now Tyler Wade figures to be the temporary replacement in the infield.
