Troy Tulowitzki Batting Ninth On Opening Day
6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will be batting at the bottom of the lineup on Opening Day against the Baltimore Orioles. The veteran infielder will likely see steady playing time until Didi Gregorius (elbow) is back to full health. The 34-year-old hit .242 across 39 plate appearances in spring training with four home runs and eight RBI. Tulowitzki is notoriously injury prone and has only played in 66 games over the past two seasons. His fantasy value is severely limited even though he plays in a fantastic lineup. Only managers in the deepest of leagues should consider rostering the two-time Gold Glove winner.
