Troy Terry Racks Up Three Helpers On Wednesday
6 years agoAnaheim Ducks forward Troy Terry registered a trio of assists as his team came up short by the score of 5-4 against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday. Playing in just the 21st game of his NHL career, Terry posted his first ever three-point outing and now has five points (two goals, three assists) in his past five contests. The standout scorer at the University of Denver is trying to earn his place to become not only a regular in the Ducks lineup but a mainstay in the team's top-six forward group as well. Having lit up the AHL during the first half of the season (41 points in 41 games), the 21-year-old carries considerable value in keeper leagues. With the Ducks wanting to shift to a younger, faster lineup sooner than later, Terry could be a player worth monitoring as a short-term piece in one-year leagues as fantasy owners look for a playoff spark.
