Triston Casas, Wilyer Abreu Out Against A Lefty
1 week agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas and outfielder Wilyer Abreu will take a seat on Tuesday against the division-rival Toronto Blue Jays and left-hander Easton Lucas at Fenway Park. Romy Gonzalez will make the start at first base and bat seventh, while Rob Refsnyder is starting in right field and is batting cleanup for the BoSox. Casas has gotten off to a slow start this year, going 7-for-39 (.179) with a homer, two doubles, three RBI and 13 K's in 11 games played. Abreu has been excellent, slashing .424/.537/.788 with a 1.324 OPS, three homers, 12 RBI, 10 runs scored and a steal in 33 at-bats. Refsnyder, although he's never faced Lucas in his career, has been known as a lefty killer and will be the more attractive DFS sleeper for Tuesday's slate. In his career, the South Korean outfielder has hit .278 with 15 of his 24 home runs against lefties.
