Triston Casas Dealing With An Ankle Injury
3 years agoBoston Red Sox infield prospect Triston Casas (ankle) is being held out for the third straight game on Friday as his Worcester Red Sox take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Casas has been dealing with an ankle injury. WooSox manager Chad Tracy stated that Casas still has some swelling in his ankle, but that "it looks worse than Casas feels." The 22-year-old is currently ranked as the 14th overall prospect in the majors by MLB Pipeline. It's expected that he will make his MLB debut this year, but it's still unclear when that will happen. Over 36 games with Worcester this year, he's slashed .248/.359/.457 with six home runs, nine doubles, 22 RBI and 22 runs.
