Tristan Jarry Stops 31 Shots On Friday
14 seconds agoPittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced en route to defeating the Boston Bruins on Friday evening. This was Jarry's best outing of the campaign and his first time allowing just one goal. His lone mistake came in the opening minutes on a wrist shot from Bruins center Charlie Coyle. Jarry was then sharp for the remainder of the evening and led the way as the Penguins captured victory in a row. Entering this game, Jarry carried a rough 3.72 GAA and .885 SV%. While fantasy managers in shallow formats should still start Jarry with caution, this could be a nice building-off point for the 29-year-old. Fantasy managers should expect Alex Nedeljkovic to get the start on Saturday evening, setting Jarry up to face the Florida Panthers on Tuesday evening.
