Tristan Jarry Shuts The Door On St. Louis
5 years agoPittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry continued his recent impressive play on Wednesday, stopping all 28 shots in a 3-0 win over St. Louis. Teddy Blueger, Stefan Noesen, and Alex Galchenyuk delivered the goals. It's the first shutout of the season for Jarry, who improved his record for the year to 6-4-0. The 24-year-old netminder has allowed only 2.02 goals per game and he's registered a nice .936 save percentage. Matt Murray has been off his game for a while, so Jarry has earned most of the starts lately. The Pens have a back-to-back set next, so both goalies should get some playing time before the week is over.
