Tristan Jarry Picks Up Third-Straight Victory
33 seconds agoPittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry picked up his third-straight victory on Thursday evening, stopping 33 of the 36 shots he saw en route to defeating the St. Louis Blues. The Blues dominated the contest early, logged 16 shots in the opening frame, but Jarry kept the door shut. In the second, St. Louis forward Zack Bolduc would find the back of the net on the power play. Then in the third, St. Louis would score their second power-play goal, this time on a Dylan Holloway slap shot. Later in the frame, Alexey Toropchenko would also score during 5-on-5 play. Since returning to the NHL, Jarry has held a perfect 3-0 record with a .942 save percentage and a 1.99 GAA. He has entered streaming conversation given his recent surge. He will look to stay hot on Saturday afternoon against the New Jersey Devils.
