Tristan Gray Hits Homer In Major League Debut On Sunday
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Tristan Gray went 2-for-4 at the plate in his major league debut Sunday against the Orioles. Gray made the most of his opportunity as one of his hits was a solo shot off of Baltimore's right-handed reliever Jorge Lopez. Before being called up, the 27-year-old posted a slash line of .234/.309/.482 in 127 games this season in Triple-A Durham. Despite striking out 160 times with Durham, Gray did smash 28 homers.
