3 years agoThe Detroit Lions have traded their fifth and seventh-round 2022 picks to the Broncos for wide receiver Trinity Benson. The Lions wide receivers room lacks depth and is largely unproven and the team is taking a chance on the 24-year-old speedster. The haul is pretty steep for an undrafted player who has played the last two seasons on the Broncos practice squad. But Benson has enjoyed a very impressive preseason, including catching four passes for 36 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos first preseason game. Benson should immediately compete for snaps and also could be used on special teams returning punts.--Joey C - RotoBaller
