years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks didn't produce monster numbers in Week 1 against the New York Giants in Week 1, but there were some positive signs. Burks commanded five targets on just 13 routes run, led all rookie wideouts with 33 yards after the catch, and commanded a 34.1-percent air-yards share in his pro debut. If Burks' usage is increased after an efficient showing, he could quickly be on the fantasy radar moving forward. Robert Woods saw just two targets in Week 1, so perhaps the No. 1 WR job is there for the taking. Expect the Titans to have to pass to keep up with the high-powered Buffalo Bills offense Monday night, so Burks is an exciting but risky flex flyer in Week 2.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

months agoTennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) had surgery on his torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Burks has been a bust for the Titans since they selected him 18th overall in 2022 out of Arkansas. The 24-year-old has played in only 27 games (17 starts) in his first three seasons in the NFL and has caught 53 passes on 92 targets for 699 yards and only one touchdown. He had been on Injured Reserve since Oct. 19. Burks wasn't exactly dealing with a full tear of his ACL, so perhaps he will be in play to start the 2025 regular season on time for the Titans. In just five games played in 2024 before his injury, Burks was well off the fantasy radar and had just four receptions for 34 yards and no touchdowns on eight targets. The Titans will continue to use Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Tyler Boyd in three-wide sets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

months agoAccording to sources, the Tennessee Titans are expected to place wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) on Injured Reserve after he suffered a non-contact knee injury in practice this week. Moving Burks to IR would mean he would not be eligible to play for the next four weeks. The earliest Burks would be eligible to return would be for a Week 11 date against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 17. The 24-year-old former 18th overall pick in 2022 out of Arkansas has been a bust for the Titans in two-plus seasons in the NFL. In five games this year, he's caught four of eight targets for 34 yards and no touchdowns and is well off the fantasy radar, especially after his new knee injury. In Burks' absence for the foreseeable future, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who caught a touchdown in last week's loss to the Colts, should see more run as depth behind Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) has been ruled out ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Brian Callahan said Burks is a candidate for the injured reserve. The third-year wideout hurt his knee last week and it appears to be fairly serious. His absence isn't going to make much of an impact to the Titans offense. Burks has hauled in four receptions for 34 yards in five games this season. DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, and Tyler Boyd all see a slight uptick with Burks sitting out this weekend. However, they haven't had much fantasy value due to the poor play of quarterback Will Levis.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (undisclosed) left practice early on Wednesday after landing hard. As he was leaving with a trainer, he held his back/hip area but was still walking on his own. Burks, a former first-round pick back in 2022, has yet to play an entire season in the NFL, having only played 11 games in both of his first two seasons (due to head and knee injuries). Still, while he has played, he has been moderately productive, having caught 49 passes for 665 yards (13.6 Y/R) in his 22 career games. Even if Burks avoids a severe injury, he is mainly a dynasty league or deep-league stash for now.--Jake Kleiner - RotoBaller
