Treylon Burks A Sneaky Flex Play In Week 3
2 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks leads the team in targets (11), receptions (seven) and yards (102) through two weeks of the NFL season. Those aren't week-winning numbers in fantasy football, but it appears he has every chance to be the Titans No. 1 wide receiver in his rookie season. Burks is eighth among all qualifying NFL wide receivers in targets per route run (37.9 percent), so quarterback Ryan Tannehill clearly wants to feed him. He's posting just over a 20 percent target share despite playing only 41.6 percent of the Titans offensive snaps. This all is a long-winded way of suggesting a big breakout could be coming if Tennessee decides to dial up his opportunity. His floor is low, but his ceiling is high in what could be a negative game script for Tennessee.
