Treylon Burks A Shaky Week 1 Flex Option
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks has apparently overcome his preseason knee injury and is fully practicing ahead of the Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints. However, fantasy managers should be cautious about inserting him in lineups to begin the 2023 season. Tennessee will likely rely on the running game once again this season, at least early on. Meanwhile, five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins should step in as the No. 1 wide receiver immediately, meaning Burks will be relegated to the No. 2 role. Given the limited target opportunity, it's too early to fully trust Burks in fantasy lineups after an up-and-down rookie campaign until proven otherwise. In deeper leagues, he's a fine flex option with a low floor.
