6 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers third base prospect Trey Sweeney had a career day at the plate on Wednesday when he went 4-for-4 with three home runs and five RBI. This big game extended Sweeney's hitting streak to seven games. Sweeney opened the season on the right foot with a .301/.431/.441 slash line but has an overall .200/.240/.389 line through May. However, this recent hot stretch should help Sweeney get back on track. The No. 21 prospect in the Dodgers system is projected to reach the majors next season, but he has yet to log a full season at Triple-A.
