Trey Palmer Could See More Action
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer has been fairly quiet to begin the season. The rookie wideout has nine receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns in six games this season. He is a distant third option behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin (neck) in this offense. However, Godwin is currently listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Buffalo Bills. His absence would likely mean an increased usage for Palmer. The sixth-round pick has only one game this season with four or more targets. Although, the absence of Godwin would probably mean more chances for Palmer. Despite that, fantasy managers should consider him a desperation PPR option, assuming Godwin does sit out in Week 8.
