Trey Palmer Catches Touchdown In Preseason Opener
1 year agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer got his first taste of NFL action during Friday's preseason opener versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 22-year-old has reportedly been impressing the coaching staff during camp. He looked good on Friday as he hauled in all four of his targets for 33 yards and one touchdown in the loss. His score came on a corner pass in the end zone from quarterback Baker Mayfield. The Bucs don't have a ton of depth at wideout right now. That being said, Palmer could very well push his way up to the No. 4 spot on the roster if everything goes right for him in camp. However, he'll likely fall into a depth role, but this is a good start for him.
