Trey McBride Good To Go, Remains A Must-Start In Fantasy
4 months agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (knee) was able to practice again on Friday and was removed from the final Week 15 injury report. He will suit up on Sunday when the team takes on the New England Patriots in the desert after upgrading to a full practice on Friday. McBride popped up on the injury report this week with a knee injury, but he never appeared to be in any danger of sitting out this weekend. That's music to his fantasy managers, who have been using him as a high-end TE1 all season. The 25-year-old enters Week 15 action as the TE3 in overall half-PPR fantasy scoring this year thanks to 80 catches on 106 targets for 851 yards. The fact that McBride has been a top-five fantasy TE without even scoring a single touchdown through 14 weeks just shows you how money he has been in 2024. Keep him locked into starting lineups against the Pats.

Cardinals Hope To Re-Sign Trey McBride
2 months agoESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Arizona Cardinals hope to re-sign impending free-agent tight end Trey McBride this offseason. The tight end market has been in the $15-17 million per-year range for some time now, but McBride could change that this offseason after recording 192 catches the last two seasons. Although he inexplicably scored just two touchdowns during the 2024 season, McBride led the Cardinals across the board as a receiver and also set new career-highs in receptions (111), targets (147) and receiving yards (1,146) in 16 games played. His 1,146 receiving yards were second at the position, behind only rookie Brock Bowers. McBride was the TE3 in half-PPR scoring, behind Bowers and George Kittle. He will be highly coveted on the open market, but it sounds like Arizona will do everything in their power to retain him. McBride has upside for more in 2025 if he can find the end zone more.

Trey McBride Is A Must-Start TE1 In Week 18
3 months agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride is a must-start TE1 when the Cardinals host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18. McBride crossed two big milestones last week: breaking 1,000 yards and scoring his first receiving touchdown of the season. However, the game ended on a tough note, with the final pass bouncing off McBride's helmet, resulting in a Los Angeles Rams interception that officially ended the Cardinals' playoff hopes. McBride has had a sensational season and has provided fantasy managers with one of the biggest positional advantages in fantasy football. He is a no-doubt starter in what should be the final week of one of the best tight end seasons in Cardinals history.

Trey McBride Scores First Receiving Touchdown Of The Season In Week 17
4 months agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride reached the end zone through the air for the first time this season in the 13-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. McBride had a dominant performance, catching 12 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. He was the heartbeat of the Cardinals' offense and willed them down the field drive after drive. Unfortunately, McBride couldn't get his head around fast enough on the Cardinals' final offensive play, which resulted in a game-sealing interception for the Rams. McBride was one of the best tight ends in fantasy football this year, and managers should be pleased with his performance this week.
