2 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter/outfielder Trey Mancini will be in the lineup Friday for Game 1 of the World Series. He is the team's designated hitter for the night and will bat seventh in the order. With Justin Verlander on the hill, the Astros feel safe with Yordan Alvarez in left field, which opens up a spot at DH. Mancini has played sporadically for the Astros this postseason, but did play in the final two games of the ALCS, both of which were wins. He is hitless in 12 at-bats this postseason and has drawn just one walk while striking out four times. Aledmys Diaz will start on the bench tonight with Mancini drawing in.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
