Trey Lyles Provides 13 Points In Monday's Win
6 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Trey Lyles was back in double figures on Monday against the Boston Celtics, scoring 13 points in 23 minutes off the bench. He did most of his damage from deep, finishing 3-for-7 with his three-ball. Lyles also picked up three rebounds and a season-high two blocks. He's been a solid bench player for the Nuggets this season, getting 10 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 21 minutes. Before Monday, he had actually struggled from deep this year, shooting only 17.6 percent for the season, so he's got potential to do a lot more damage offensively. There's a pretty good matchup on the horizon for Lyles on Wednesday, as the Grizzlies are allowing opponents to shoot treys with 38.3 percent, which is the fifth-worst mark in the league.
