Trey Lyles Is A Bright Spot For Nuggets On Wednesday
6 years agoDenver Nuggets forward Trey Lyles was one of the bright spots for the team during Wednesday's road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Lyles scored 16 points while adding in nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in 28 minutes of action. The 28 minutes was a season-high for Lyles. Paul Millsap (ankle) has been dealing with a left ankle injury that has been bothering him, although he hasn't missed any time because of it. Without an injury opening up more playing time for the 12th pick in the 2015 draft, his ceiling is completely capped. Lyles lacks upside only getting 21.7 minutes per contest, and while he has been producing in his limited action, the 23-year-old remains a low-end streamer for the time being.
