Trey Burke Scores 15 Points During Bizarre Outing
6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Trey Burke scored 15 points during Sunday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies. A conventional 15 points it was not. Burke was woeful from the field, going just 3-for-15, but salvaging the performance by knocking down all eight free throws he attempted. He played more minutes (29) than starter Emmanuel Mudiay (23), while adding three rebounds, three assists and two steals, but still saw his team outscored by five points during his time on the floor. There’s little doubt that Burke can score, and that the Knicks have given him a green light, so feel free to roster him if that’s your thing, as he has taken at least 15 shots in four of his last five games.
