Trevor Williams Has A Short Outing
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Trevor Williams couldn't get out of the third inning on Friday night. His final line is 2 1/3 innings with five runs on five hits with two walks and zero strikeouts. He threw 82 pitches. This is Williams' third straight start giving up three or more runs. In those starts he has pitched 13 innings and given up 12 earned runs on 14 hits and has walked four. Williams' next start will come against the Washington Nationals, which probably is not going to be an easy outing.
