Trevor Williams Being Skipped In Rotation
1 year agoThe Washington Nationals are skipping right-hander Trevor Williams' turn in the starting rotation, but manager Dave Martinez said that Williams will make another start next week. The team's weekend rotation against the Atlanta Braves will be Jake Irvin, Patrick Corbin and Joan Adon, with the final starter on Sunday yet to be announced. The 31-year-old Williams' next start lines up to be on Sept. 27 in a tough matchup against the Baltimore Orioles. We wouldn't recommend streaming him for that one, especially after he's surrendered 18 runs (17 earned) on 25 hits (five homers) while walking six and striking out eight in 10 1/3 innings in his three September starts against the Marlins, Dodgers and Brewers.
