Trevor Story Tearing It Up In July
5 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story has been on a power binge since returning from the Injured List on July 2. Through 12 games in July, Story has five home runs, seven RBI and eight runs with a .919 OPS. Nine of those 12 games have come at Coors Field, which of course is a big help, but regardless, Story has just been a stud for fantasy owners this year and there's little reason to think his success won't continue. His 47.6% hard-hit rate ranks amongst the top 10% of the league and he's maintained a career-best exit velocity of 91.5 this season. He should end up right around his 2018 season totals of 37 home runs and 108 RBI this year if he can stay healthy and fantasy owners should be very satisfied with that.
