Trevor Story (back), who was scratched from Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to lower-back tightness, will return to the lineup on Saturday against the division-rival Tampa Bay Rays, according to manager Alex Cora. Story had a already previously missed a week of spring training action due to a back injury, but this time around it's clearly not as serious. Barring another setback to close out Grapefruit League action, the 32-year-old veteran should be good to go for Opening Day next Thursday. The two-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger winner has played in just 163 games in three seasons since joining Boston in 2022, though, which is why fantasy managers can't trust him as anything more than middle infield depth in deeper leagues because of his propensity for injury.
