Trevor Story Leaves Game Early With Leg Injury, Expected To Be Fine
3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (leg) was removed from the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs in the bottom of the 10th inning after aggravating "a leg injury of some kind," according to manager Bud Black. Story believes he'll be fine but will surely go through treatment and testing to assess the severity. The two-time All-Star hasn't been his elite self this season, posting 16 homers, 58 RBI, 65 runs, 17 stolen bases with a .246/.323/.448 line across 411 at-bats. The Rockies have a travel day Thursday, but consider the 28-year-old day-to-day until more information becomes available.
