Trevor Story Hits His 15th Homer In Friday's Loss
2 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Trevor Story went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in the team's 12-5 loss to the New York Yankees on Friday. It was his third home run of the month of July and his 15th home run of the season. The 29-year-old has been a major disappointment for fantasy managers this year. He currently has a career-low .727 OPS as life outside of Coors Field has not been kind to him. Additionally, his strikeout rate (31.3%) is the highest it's been since 2017, up from 23.4% last year, and his .224 batting average is well below his career .268 average.
