Trevor Siemian Struggles In Spot-Start
2 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Trevor Siemian completed 14-of-25 passes for 179 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the team's blowout loss to the Jets 31-10. Siemian got the start for the injured Justin Fields and even popped up on the injury report minutes before the game after injuring his oblique in warmups. The Bears played him anyways and Siemian actually posted a quality first drive for an early field goal. The Bears offense would disintegrate from there and Siemian struggled to move the chains. The veteran passer could be under center again next week against the Packers but Fields' status will need to be monitored daily heading into Week 13.
