Trevor Rosenthal Returns To Spring Action
5 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Trevor Rosenthal (calf) returned to action on Friday after taking a couple extra days of rest due to some calf tightness. Rosenthal has been brilliant so far for Kansas City, racking up four strikeouts and zero walks in two scoreless innings this spring. Five years removed from his two seasons with 45 and 48 saves, respectively, Rosenthal has fallen a long way. Last season, he logged an incredible 26 walks in just 15 1/3 innings pitched as he made stops in Detroit and Washington. If the 29-year-old can recover what he lost over the last few years, he could return to glory with a KC team that leans heavily on its bullpen.
