Trevor Rosenthal "Likely" Out For The Season
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Trevor Rosenthal (hamstring, lat) is "likely" out for the remainder of the season. He sustained a lat injury similar to teammate Freddy Peralta that caused the right-hander to miss nearly three months. Rosenthal had missed a lot of time recovering from a hamstring issue and was on track to return to Milwaukee's bullpen until sustaining a lat injury. The 32-year-old hasn't pitched since 2020 and will look to make a full recovery for 2023. Rosenthal posted a 1.90 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and was 11-for-12 in save opportunities across 23 2/3 innings in 2020.
