Trevor Rosenthal Has A Rough Outing On Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Trevor Rosenthal was unable to close out Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Rosenthal came in with a 3-2 lead in the eighth inning and then pitched into the ninth after the Royals added two more runs, giving him a 5-2 lead. However, he went on to allow a total of three earned runs on one hit and two walks over 1 1/3 innings. It was the first time this year that Rosenthal allowed multiple runs in an appearance. Over the year, Rosenthal has been solid with a 3.29 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. He's the clear closer in Kansas City and should be owned in all leagues where saves are highly-coveted.
