Trevor Rosenthal Collects First Saves As Padre
4 years agoSan Diego Padres reliever Trevor Rosenthal slammed the door Sunday against the Oakland Athletics for his first save as a Friar. Rosenthal permitted a leadoff double but settled to record a strikeout and two fly balls to secure the victory. The 30-year-old has registered three scoreless innings with his new club and holds a 2.70 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and fantastic 14.0 K/9 with eight saves overall this season for the Padres and Kansas City Royals. He should be universally owned in all fantasy formats as the apparent ninth-inning man of choice in San Diego.
