Trevor Rogers To Start Friday's Game
3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers (personal) will be activated from the restricted list to make a start in Friday's game. Rogers was dealing with personal issues and has not made a start since July 31st. He'll return to a 7-6 record and a 2.45 ERA and will try to make a strong finish to what has been an outstanding rookie year. If he hadn't missed a month, he and Reds infielder Jonathan India would be neck-and-neck for Rookie of the Year honors. Rogers made two minor league rehab starts and should be able to throw his usual allotment of pitches in his first start back. He can be confidently started in all formats.
