Trevor Rogers To Make Baltimore Debut On Thursday
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Trevor Rogers is set to debut with his new team on Thursday evening as the Orioles face the Cleveland Guardians. Rogers was traded to Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon in exchange for infield prospect Connor Norby and outfielder Kyle Stowers. This season, the southpaw has posted a modest 4.53 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and a 46:85 BB:K ratio across 105 frames. However, in his past five outings, he has not allowed more than two runs in each of the starts and posted an overall 3.38 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. The 26-year-old could be worth holding onto in deeper leagues during the second half as he should be in line to receive several wins pitching on a competing Orioles team but should remain on your bench this evening and faded in DFS as the Guardians currently boast one of the sport's top records.
