1 year agoMiami Marlins left-hander Trevor Rogers (biceps), who tossed five shutout innings on 70 pitches for Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, is scheduled to make his third minor-league rehab start for the Jumbo Shrimp on the weekend of June 9, where he will go six innings. In his first rehab start at Single-A Jupiter on May 30, Rogers threw four scoreless frames. As long as the 25-year-old southpaw doesn't have any setbacks with his left biceps muscle this weekend, he should be ready to rejoin Miami's starting rotation next week. Rogers has looked good in his four starts so far in 2023, recording a 4.00 ERA (4.12 FIP), 1.22 WHIP, six walks and 19 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched. He's rostered in only 15% of Yahoo leagues right now, so fantasy managers in deep mixed leagues should consider stashing him if you're in need of starting pitching.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
