Trevor Rogers Takes A Loss On Wednesday
3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers wasn't at his best on Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he still managed a decent start. He ended up tossing five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six. Rogers dropped to 7-4 and his ERA went up to 2.08. Despite the pedestrian box score, this was an impressive outing for the rookie, who clearly did not have his best stuff but was still able to give his team a decent chance to win.
