Trevor Rogers Still Not Throwing
1 year agoMiami Marlins left-hander Trevor Rogers (biceps, shoulder) still has not resumed throwing. Rogers initially landed on the injured list with a left-biceps strain and even made two solid minor-league rehab starts before getting shut down again due to right-shoulder discomfort. The 25-year-old southpaw last pitched in a rehab game on June 4, but there's no timetable for him to resume a throwing program, so he definitely won't rejoin Miami's starting rotation until at least late July, if not longer. Rogers has only made four starts for the Fish in 2023, going 1-2 with a 4.00 ERA (4.11 FIP), 1.22 WHIP, six walks and 19 strikeouts in 18 innings. Fantasy managers in deep-mixed leagues should start looking for a replacement if they haven't already.
