Trevor Rogers Still In No-Throw Status
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Trevor Rogers (biceps) is still in a no-throw status Monday after being placed on the 15-day injured list with a left biceps strain on April 21. The 25-year-old exited his fourth start early and had compiled a 4.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 24.1% strikeout rate to start the season. Rogers said that he doesn't expect to need an extended stay on the IL and that the earliest he'll throw again will be the week of April 24. Rogers had a strong 2021 season but was disappointing in 2022 while dealing with injuries. It remains to be seen which version fantasy managers may get when he does return to the Marlins.
