Trevor Rogers Reportedly Starting On Saturday
3 years agoThe Miami Marlins will reportedly activate starting pitcher Trevor Rogers (back) from the injured list on Saturday to start against the New York Yankees. Rogers has been on the injured list since July 24 due to back spasms, but will now return to action against New York. The left-hander is in the midst of a breakout season, pitching to a 2.37 ERA, a 2.55 FIP, 125 strikeouts, and 37 walks in 19 starts spanning 106.1 innings. Rogers gets a tough matchup in his return against a new-look Yankees lineup featuring Joey Gallo and Anthony Rizzo, but it'll be hard to leave the starter on fantasy benches on Saturday.
