3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Trevor Rogers pitched well on Saturday, picking up a quality start. He tossed six innings, allowing just two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five. Rogers got off to a slow start, giving up two runs in the second inning, but getting stronger as the game went on. He's been excellent all year, and he'll head into his next start with a 1.97 ERA. Rogers is one of the current frontrunners for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.
