Trevor Rogers Not Throwing Yet
1 year agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Trevor Rogers (lat/biceps) continues to slowly work his way back onto the mound. The left-hander has resumed active range of motion in his right shoulder, but still isn't cleared to throw yet. He was originally placed on the injured list in late April due to a biceps strain in his throwing arm. While rehabbing, Rogers suffered a lat strain in his non-throwing arm. The hope is that Rogers can begin throwing again soon. The expectation is that he'll need at least another month of rehab workouts before returning to the team. It sounds like best case scenario is Rogers returning around mid-August.
