Trevor Rogers Makes Pro Debut at Single-A on Tuesday
6 years agoAfter not pitching last year, Miami Marlins pitcher Trevor Rogers made his professional debut on Tuesday with the Marlins Single-A affiliate, the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Miami's first-round pick in last year's draft, Rogers pitched three innings and took the loss against the Kannapolis Intimidators, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five. Rogers is still several years away from joining the Marlins, but it is good to see him finally on the mound and see what he's capable of.
