Trevor Richards Picks Up 11th Loss
5 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Trevor Richards took the loss on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres, his 11th of the season. The righty pitched five complete innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out five and walking three. It was yet another uneventful start for the 26-year-old who has now taken the loss in six of his last seven starts. With only three wins to his credit on the year, and with the Marlins providing inconsistent support on the offensive end, it would be best if he remained a free agent in all fantasy leagues at the moment.
